What are cookies?

A cookie is a file that contains identification from a browser and is stored in the visitor’s computer. This is so that the website can recognize the visitor and deliver the right information faster. There are two types of cookies, permanent and temporary (“session cookies”). Permanent cookies are stored as a file on your computer or mobile for a certain period of time until you, or the server that sent them, deletes them. Session cookies are temporarily stored and disappear when you close your browser

How we use cookies

We use cookies to be able to give you as a visitor better service. Some cookies are used to collect statistics about the number of visitors to the websites while others are used to obtain information about which operating system and which browser, as well as which versions of these, the visitors use, how our website is used and how we can improve it, which pages which are popular and less popular, etc. This information enables us to develop and optimize our website and our digital communications.

We also use something called a “session cookie”. To enable this, our server sends a session cookie with a unique ID number to your computer each time you visit one of these websites. Session cookies are used during the time you are active on the website, without it the browser, for example, would not remember the username and password when logging in to the locked parts of the website and you would have to fill in all information again each time. A “session cookie” is only temporarily stored in your computer’s working memory and is automatically deleted when you close your browser.

If you do not want to allow the use of cookies

Most browsers are set to allow cookies to be stored. If you do not want to allow cookies, you can either set your browser so that you receive a warning every time a website wants to place a cookie on your computer or turn off the storage of cookies completely. Information on how to do this can be found in the browser’s help function. If you choose to turn off cookies, padel total.se will not be guaranteed to work as well as you as a user expect.
